Welcome to The Held Edge
A place where honesty, rest, and resilience meet. This is where we name what hurts, and begin again, quietly and bravely.
About Me
I’m Heather Nicole, the voice behind The Held Edge. This space is for the soul-tired — for the ones who feel like they’re drowning under the weight of it all, and for the ones who’ve found a little air and are learning to steady themselves again. Whether you are gasping for breath, finding your footing, or beginning to rise, this is a place to be held and reminded you are not alone.
These are the words I once needed when I felt undone by anxiety, fear, and the heavy work of rebuilding a life I could barely recognize. It’s the reminder I needed that I wasn’t broken beyond repair — and that I could begin again.
This isn’t about spilling every detail of my story. It’s about what comes after: the naming, the rebuilding, the slow return to strength. I write from lived experience as a nurse, a mother, and a woman who knows what it means to come undone and rise again.
My approach is simple: gentle, but unflinching. I’ll hold space for what hurts, but I’ll also be honest — not always what you want to hear, but what you may need. Here, compassion and accountability walk side by side.
